# The General Industries Workers Union of South Africa says the Competition Commission’s legal case against 14 local and international banks is a stark exposure of how finance capital operates as a parasite. The case emanates from the flagging of 28 banks for allegedly being involved in collusion to manipulate the rand-dollar exchange between 2007 and 2013.
