# Botswana has secured a 211-billion-rand investment deal with Qatar’s Al Mansour Holdings to tackle urgent national challenges. President Duma Boko announced that the signed partnership with the Botswana Development Corporation target infrastructure, energy, mining, diamond refinement, agriculture, tourism, cybersecurity, and defence. Botswana has been facing setbacks due to a diamond market downturn. Boko says the deal will strengthen diversification and bolster bilateral ties.
