Eastern Cape G20 Education Indaba focuses on ECDs [SOUND]

# The G20 Provincial Education gathering in the Eastern Cape has spotlighted challenges facing early childhood development centres, including unqualified teachers and poor learning conditions. Basic Education deputy minister, Reginah Mhaule, says government is on track to register ten-thousand centres this year while clamping down on illegal facilities. She also addressed low literacy rates and multi-sectoral collaboration to build strong early learning foundations.
