UN says conflict-related sexual violence is on the rise [SOUND]

# There were more than four-thousand-600 reported cases of conflict-related sexual violence in 2024, marking a 25-percent increase from 2023. This is according to the United Nations. Sexual violence against children increased by 35-percent in the past year. The highest number of cases was recorded in the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Somalia, and South Sudan.
