Former Australia captain and coach Bob Simpson has died

# Cricket: Former Australian Test captain and coach, Bob Simpson, has died at 89. He is regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of Australian cricket. Simpson played 62 Test matches between 1957 and 1978 and claimed 71 wickets. He retired in 1968 after an 11-year career, but returned as Test captain in 1978 at the age of 41. Cricket Australia chairperson, Mike Baird, says this is a sad day for anyone fortunate to have watched Simpson play or who benefited from his wisdom.
