Township auto businesses get boost from new Gauteng Transport initiative

# Gauteng Roads and Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, is launching the Merchant Development Programme to help township-based small, medium, and micro enterprises enter the automotive industry. Launching at the Chamdor Automotive Hub in Krugersdorp, the initiative aims to support small businesses with training, accreditation, and integration into the government supply chain. The programme targets merchants in townships, informal settlements, and hostels. The launch is driven by g-FleeT Management in partnership with WesBank and the Automotive Industry Development Centre.
