# The Congress of South African Trade Unions has commended the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union for securing a 5.5-percent wage increase, including a no-retrenchment clause with the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa. Cosatu spokesperson Zanele Sabela has critisised Prasa’s planned fare hikes of up to 58-percent. She also flagged concern over a Hawks raid at Prasa’s head quarters linked to two 18-billion-rand tenders:
