# The Johannesburg High Court has convicted Sibusiso Zitha for the murder of his girlfriend, celebrity chef Thembekile Letlape, also known as the Pastry Princess. Zitha pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing her during an argument in their Fourways home in May 2024. Thembekile’s father, the former South African Medical Association chairperson, Kgosi Letlape, found her lifeless body after she sent her mother a distressing text message. Pre-sentence procedures start on 28 August.
