# Activists and Citizens Forum says the appointment of Mineral and Petroleum Resources minister, Gwede Mantashe, as acting Police minister, strengthens its call for president Cyril Ramaphosa to resign. Mantashe will be in the role until professor Firoz Cachalia assumes the position in August.
