EC MEC Williams says R504-million flood relief falls short of recovery needs [SOUND]

# Eastern Cape Cogta MEC, Zolile Williams says the 504-million-rand allocation from national disaster relief funds is insufficient to cover costs to rebuild following June floods. Over 100 lives were lost, homes and infrastructure destroyed, and many displaced. Williams told SABC News that despite the funds being released in phases, no money has been earmarked for temporary housing, or restoration of lost livestock. He calls for additional support to rebuild communities:
