Cricket: Mulder’s double-century puts the Proteas in control in 2nd Test against Zimbabwe

# Cricket: Captain Wiaan Mulder scored an unbeaten double-century as South Africa reached 465 for four at stumps on day one of the second Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. The Proteas lost two early wickets after being sent in to bat, but a 184-run partnership between Mulder and David Bedingham steadied the ship. Bedingham departed for 82 while teenager Lhuan-dre Pretorius scored 78. Mulder, who will resume today on 264, holds the record for the highest individual scorer on captaincy debut in Tests.
