# Close to ten people have been killed in shooting incidents in Mitchells Plan today. Mayoral committee member for Safety and Security, JP Smith has confirmed the deployment of 60 law enforcement officers to assist the police following a spate of shootings. Smith says authorities are restoring calm and efforts are underway to identify the perpetrators.
