AfriForum enters ConCourt battle over SAHRC’s true powers [SOUND]

# AfriForum says the Constitution and legislation make it clear that the South African Human Rights Commission does not have the power to make legally binding decisions. The civil rights organisation has joined the case to challenge the commission’s authority. AfriForum’s Ernst van Zyl says, last year, the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein, ruled that the commission’s directives can only be enforced through the courts:
