# Trade and Industry minister Parks Tau has welcomed the launch of two online platforms, Shop Proudly SA and the Market Access Platform, to promote local goods and services. With over one-thousand-700 products, the platforms aim to support small, medium and micro enterprises, reduce import reliance, and create jobs. The minister says this digital shift is key to transforming procurement, promoting inclusivity, and enabling access to Africa’s 59-trillion-rand market under the Continental Free Trade Area:
