Ex-Transnet bosses Molefe, Gama arrested over multimillion rand train deal

# Former Transnet executives Brian Molefe and Siyabonga Gama have been arrested after they handed themselves over to the Hawks this morning over a multimillion-rand locomotive tender deal linked to state capture. They’re among five ex-bosses charged for a 2015 payment to Trillian Asset Management. Also charged are Anoj Singh, Garry Pita, and Phetolo Ramosebudi. Molefe, now an MK Party member of parliament, faces corruption charges alongside the co-accused. They are expected to appear in court later today.
