# The Namibian Council of Traditional Leaders has concluded its three-day visit to South Africa. The trip was aimed at exploring ways for traditional authorities to become more self-reliant. The mission ended with a visit to the Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela community in North West, where the delegation observed development initiatives focused on empowering local residents. The council’s Ombara Vezemburuka Kambazembi told SABC News that the exchange provided an opportunity to share best practices and discuss sustainable models that strengthen leadership:
