# The Engineering Council of South Africa has signed a memorandum of agreement with the City of Tshwane to enhance municipal engineering services and develop a resilient workforce. The partnership aims to promote professional registration, ethical practices, and capacity building aligned with national standards. The council’s CEO Bridget Samula said Tshwane could become the first city certified as a municipal engineering training academy, setting a benchmark for sustainable urban development and engineering excellence nationwide.
