# The Government of National Unity has adopted a Medium-Term Development Plan. Addressing the National Council of Provinces president Cyril Ramaphosa said the plan’s success depends on collaboration between government, business, labour, and civil society. Ramaphosa explained that social compacts through master plans have already boosted industries like automotive, sugar, and textiles. He emphasised that the National Dialogue has been launched to reignite shared patriotism guided by South Africa’s Constitution:
