# The Zion Christian Church is taking further legal action against Michael Kgotso Serepo for continuing to falsely claim links to the church and its leader, Barnabas Lekganyane. This follows last year’s interdict by the High Court in Pretoria that barred Serepo, leader of the Zion Creationist Church, from using the ZCC name, symbols, and uniforms. ZCC spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the Department of Home Affairs has since cancelled his ID issued under a false name:
