Netball: Professional Australian league to be broadcast worldwide through Whoopi’s TV network

# Netball: Australia’s professional Super League will be broadcast to over 60 countries for the next three years following a deal between the governing body and the All Women’s Sports Network of Hollywood actress Whoopi Goldberg. The sport is super popular in Australia, with estimates of up to a million players. Eight teams are participating in the Super League of which 41 games will now be broadcast on AWSN. Netball Australia’s CEO, Stacey West, says the breakthrough deal puts the sport on screens across the world.
