PSA condemns political intimidation linked to R100-million youth fund [SOUND]

# The Public Servants Association says a toxic political culture is to blame for the resignation of KwaZulu-Natal director-general Nonhlanhla Mkhize. The union claims Mkhize was threatened with violence after refusing to approve irregular appointments linked to a 100-million-rand youth fund. The PSA’s Mlungisi Ndlovu says the threats reportedly came from within the premier’s office and amount to an attack on ethical governance and gender equity:
