# The Agriculture organisation, TLU SA says government has the responsibility to manage and control the outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease in the country. This follows new outbreaks of the disease reported in Newcastle and Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, which have also spread to Mpumalanga and Gauteng, via auctions.
