# International Relations and Cooperation minister, Ronald Lamola, is urging the implementation of the Peace and Security Framework in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. He attended the 12th High-Level Meeting of the Regional Oversight Mechanism for the Peace, Security, and Cooperation Framework in Kampala, Uganda. Lamola says the summit also reflected on the current deadly conflict in Sudan and the worrisome political situation in South Sudan, calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities:
