# The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed a decision not to prosecute anyone in the Matatiele sexual assault case involving a minor. The November 2024 docket showed insufficient evidence following interviews and medical examinations. NPA national spokesperson, Mthunzi Mhaga, says police have since resubmitted the docket for further consideration by the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office:
