# Communications and Digital Technologies minister Solly Malatsi says while the government has made significant strides in improving access to services over the past two decades, the digital transformation journey has been uncoordinated. The minister has launched the Digital Transformation of the South African Government, aimed at driving the adoption of digital technologies in government. Malatsi says they have a four-point plan to push the government’s use of digital platforms and technology. These include a single, zero-rated digital services platform and a data exchange framework.
