# Water and Sanitation minister Pemmy Majodina says her department is committed to advancing the government’s commitment to offer dignified sanitation to communities across the country. She recently handed over 403 newly constructed ventilated improved pit toilet structures for households in Fani, Ntsinga, and Maqhubela villages in the Eastern Cape. The project was funded through the department’s water services infrastructure grant at a tune of eleven-million-rand. Majodina says her department is committed to restoring dignity and protecting public health:
