# A new Ipsos survey shows South Africans are divided on whether Black Economic Empowerment should continue. The survey commissioned by News24 found that 44-percent want the government to continue BEE policies, while 36-percent think it should stop. Support is higher among black South Africans at 46-percent and white respondents support ending BEE. More than half of ANC and EFF voters back BEE, while DA and FF Plus voters mostly reject it. Many believe BEE slows economic growth, but younger and more educated people still support it.
