Saftu will mobilise workers against new employer-favoured labour law changes [SOUND]

# Union federation Saftu calls on workers to reject proposed changes to labour laws, as they favour employers and weaken workers’ rights. The federation says the new draft code on dismissal would allow unfair dismissals, especially in small businesses, remove fair hearing processes, and make it easier to fire workers on probation or those deemed incompatible. Saftu spokesperson Newton Masuku warns the changes also threaten the right to strike and protest:
