SASCO demands suspension of Walter Sisulu University academic activities following campus shooting [SOUND]

# The South African Students Congress wants all academic activities at Walter Sisulu University’s Mthatha campus in the Eastern Cape suspended after a student was allegedly shot and killed by a residence manager. Three other students were injured. The shooting followed protests over safety and poor living conditions. The organisation’s Thuto Mashile demands the arrest and suspension of the manager, counselling for affected students, and a full investigation by Higher Education minister Nobuhle Nkabane:
