# Manufacturing production dropped by 3.2-percennt in February compared to last year. According to Statistics South Africa, the biggest drops came from motor vehicles and petroleum. However, production rose slightly by 0.3-percent from January. Stats SA’s Nicolai Claassen says over the past three months, production fell by 2.3-percent, with motor vehicles and iron sectors leading the negative growth:
