First inner-city affordable housing development unveiled in Cape Town [SOUND]

# The Western Cape Government has unveiled its first mixed-use, inner-city affordable housing development. The 918-million-rand Leeuloop Precinct in Cape Town is expected to offer over 840 housing opportunities. The development, which includes 350 affordable housing units, is designed with sustainability in mind, earning a 4-Star Green Building certification. MEC Tertuis Simmers also handed over 71 title deeds to financially distressed homeowners, in partnership with First National Bank’s housing subsidy initiative:
