# The City of Cape Town is urging residents to comment on the metro’s draft 2025/2026 budget before the 2nd of May. Mayoral committee member for Finance, Siseko Mbandezi, says the budget brings important changes to the tariff structure to ensure that the metro can perform its service delivery functions sustainably. He says they are investing a record 39.7-billion-rand in infrastructure over the next three years for better water and sanitation, roads, electricity services, public transport and more:
