# The Free State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has temporarily closed Glen College of Agriculture until 18 April 2025. This follows student protests over poor management, unreliable water and electricity supply, and dilapidated student residences. Acting head Tshepo Mabilo confirmed that discussions are underway between college management and student representatives to address the concerns.
