# Environmentalists have criticised US president Donald Trump’s plan to roll back around 31 major climate policies. The Environmental Protection Agency recently announced it will undo rules that would have pushed power plants and carmakers toward cleaner forms of energy. The Centre for Biological Diversity’s Climate Law Institute says the Trump administration is determined to put polluter profits ahead of people’s lives. The agency’s, Lee Zeldin, says they will abide by the rule of law to protect consumer choice and the environment:
