# Motorsport: Ferrari’s former technical director, Enrico Cardile, may only start working for Aston Martin in July. This follows after the Italian team won a local court case. Cardile left Ferrari in July last year and the two teams have been in dispute over his starting date at Aston Martin ever since. Ferrari says he already violated the non-compete commitment. It says the purpose of the relevant clause in Cardile’s contract was to prevent other Formula One teams from gaining an unjustified competitive advantage.
