# Former president Thabo Mbeki will deliver the Aziz Pahad Memorial Lecture at the North West University’s Mahikeng campus tonight. It is organised by the provincial government, led by premier Lazarus Kagiso Mokgosi, the Department of Arts, and the university. The lecture will be presented under the theme The Insurgent Diplomat: Lessons from the Life and Legacy of Aziz Pahad. The event honours Pahad’s role in shaping South Africa’s foreign policy post-apartheid. The lecture forms part of activities in the run-on to the state of the province address
