# The DA has expressed satisfaction with the Constitutional Court’s ruling in their favour regarding the disclosure of the ANC’s cadre deployment records. The court has ordered the ANC to make public its complete cadre deployment records including meeting minutes, CVs, email threads, and WhatsApps dating back to 1 January 2013. The DA’s national spokesperson on Public Service and Administration, Leon Schreiber, says the ANC has five working days to hand over all relevant documents:
# Private wealth manager Allan Gray has expressed apprehension regarding the potential outcomes of this year’s elections. News24 reports the private sector is particularly uneasy about the prospect of a coalition government, especially one that could advocate for nationalisation. Of particular concern is the possibility of an alliance between the EFF and the ANC. The company is worried about the potential economic instability a coalition government might bring. Allan Gray warns the country is teetering on the edge of a breaking point.
# Eskom has announced a daily rotation between stages three and four load-shedding until further notice. This pattern aims to address ongoing challenges and restore stability to the power grid. The utility has restored generating units, allowing for a temporary reprieve with stage three load-shedding from 5 AM to 4 PM followed by stage four each day. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokwena urges the public to actively contribute to electricity conservation during these challenging times:
# Soccer: The Premier Soccer League has rescheduled all Premiership fixtures originally set for tomorrow and Wednesday to welcome back Bafana Bafana after they claimed the bronze medal in the Africa Cup of Nations. Bafana defeated the Democratic Republic of Congo’s national team, the Leopards, in the third-place playoffs, while hosts Ivory Coast beat Nigeria in the final. The PSL says the decision shows recognition and solidarity for the national team’s achievement as they return on Wednesday. Fans are assured new match dates will be communicated promptly.
