# Business Leadership South Africa says the country’s reform progress has reached its highest level since tracking began in March 2024. Its latest reform tracker score rose to 72.5 points for July to September, up from 71.3 points for April to June. Improvements were recorded in electricity, rail transport and financial services. However, progress in fighting corruption has stalled, while governance reforms have declined. The organisation warns weaknesses in law enforcement could put South Africa at risk of returning to the Financial Action Task Force’s grey list.
