# A toxicologist has told the Anele Tembe inquest at the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court that tests on samples from her stomach, blood and eyes during toxicological analysis detected traces of cocaine, alcohol, antidepressants, antipsychotic medication and mood stabilisers. The 22-year-old died in April 2021 after falling from the tenth floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. Tembe was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes. The inquest is examining the circumstances surrounding her death, including possible negligence or unlawful conduct.
