Nidal Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, is scheduled to be executed by firing squad on 3 December. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth had announced that the public would be able to watch the execution online, prompting widespread criticism. Trump says the execution will go ahead as planned but will not be streamed. Immediate family members of the victims will be allowed to witness it in person.
