Tennis: Djokovic claims 102nd career title in Beijing

# Tennis: Novak Djokovic has won his 102nd career title after claiming a record seventh China Open crown in Beijing. The 39-year-old Serbian beat Australia’s Alex de Minaur 7-6 in the first set before his opponent retired with an injury. Djokovic remains unbeaten in Beijing, with 34 wins from 34 matches. The victory is his first title of the season and means he has won at least one title for a record 21 consecutive years. Only Jimmy Connors, with 109 titles, and Roger Federer, with 103, have won more in the Open Era.
