#The National Youth Unemployment Movement noted Quarterly Employment Statistics showing employed persons fell from 10.43 million in March to 10.42 million in June, a decline of 14-thousand. NYUM’s Lindokuhle Yende says every job lost affects income and livelihood. Yende is concerned that young people face barriers including limited experience, skills mismatches and difficult school-to-work transitions and urged government to prioritise job creation and skills development:
