# Gauteng’s MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Lebogang Maile, has officially opened the second Africa conference of the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg. The event, co-hosted by Prinshof School for the Visually Impaired, focuses on inclusive education, innovation, collaboration and accessibility for learners with visual impairment. Addressing more than 200 delegates from 35 countries, the MEC says Gauteng remains committed to providing quality, inclusive education for learners across the province.
