SA Reserve Bank expects inflation to return to 3% by end-2027 [SOUND]

# The South African Reserve Bank sees inflation returning to the three-percent target by late next year, despite a near-term rise driven by higher fuel prices. According to the bank, food inflation remains low, while global conflicts, oil prices and other supply problems continue to pose risks. Governor Lesetja Kganyago told the media that the bank remains focused on bringing inflation back to target and managing risks from global economic conditions:
