# The G7 Foreign ministers have called on Iran to end military support to Houthi forces in Yemen, saying this dangerous pattern of escalation risks undermining international trade and creating global instability. According to the United Nations, hostilities in Yemen have displaced at least 125-thousand people since the start of this month. In a joint statement, the ministers of the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States have also called on the Houthis to immediately cease all military actions and attacks against civilian shipping.
