# Correctional Services minister Pieter Groenewald has officially launch Corrections Week 2026 at Goodwood Art Gallery in Cape Town today. The six-day campaign promotes rehabilitation through arts and crafts, community participation in reintegration and crime prevention, and stronger partnerships to market offender-made products. Nine galleries will open nationwide, showcasing products produced under its Self-Sufficiency and Sustainability Programme. The initiative aims to strengthen rehabilitation, skills development and social reintegration. The minister will also announce the national winner of the Department of Correctional Services Garden Project in Malmesbury.
