# DA Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate Khathutshelo Rasilingwane says the City is failing to adequately protect women following the recovery of nine dead women. This comes as one of the victims, Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo is laid to rest today at Phake-Ga Rankaila village in Mpumalanga. Rasilingwane said women should not have to live in fear in their communities. She has also called for stronger safety measures and improved policing:
