# Special Tribunal’s Judge Chantel Fortuin, has criticised the South African Airways board over its decision to extend a lease agreement with Flyfofa Airways, operating as Flyfofa Aviation and Training. Judge Fortuin has set aside the 2019 decision, involving an 85.3-million-rand agreement, after finding it unlawful. The Special Investigating Unit says SAA extended the deal without a procurement process or National Treasury approval. The tribunal has ordered Flyfofa to disclose payments and costs, paving the way for the SIU to pursue recovery of profits from the agreement.
