Embattled Sergeant Fannie Nkosi case postponed as defence prepares representations

# The suspended Crime Intelligence officer Sergeant Fannie Nkosi wants the National Prosecuting Authority to reconsider charges against him. Nkosi made a brief appearance in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court this morning. He faces firearm-related charges and defeating the ends of justice after a raid at his home in April, and charges for allegedly impersonating a senior officer and stealing marijuana in Thohoyandou. His lawyer Katlego Raleho says written representations will be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions within two weeks.
