UCT to host African launch of major inequality research initiative

# The University of Cape Town will host the African launch of the African Inequality Review today in Cape Town. Former Finance minister Trevor Manuel and economic adviser to the president Cyril Ramaphosa, Michael Sachs, are among the speakers at the event, which will bring together policymakers and researchers to discuss inequality and inclusive development in Africa. The initiative aims to identify key research priorities that can help African countries tackle inequality and promote inclusive growth.
